Questa è una guida per installare la Pixelmon e ti aiuterà ad installare la Pixelmon per Minecraft, sia che tu la voglia usare in single player, o che tu voglia entrare in un server che c'è già. Se vuoi installare la pixelmon sul tuo server, dai un'occhiata a come installare la pixelmon su un server.

This guide assumes that you have already purchased and installed Minecraft. If you do not have Minecraft installed, you will need to do so before installing Pixelmon.

Requisiti di sistema

• Un profilo premium di "Minecraft" (quindi, devi aver comprato Minecraft) per computer, lo si può comprare su minecraft,.net.

Note

• Se stai utilizzando "Minecraft", chiudilo prima di installare la Pixelmon.
• Assicurati di avere almeno 2 GB di RAM disponibile ed un sistema a 64 Bit, ed una versione di java corrispondente alla quantità di bit del sistema. Se non sai come assegnare la RAM, dai un'occhiata a come assegnare RAM a Minecraft.
• La JAR della Pixelmon è universale: questo vuol dire che può essere utilizzata sia per il server, sia per il client.
• Se stai utilizzando altre mod insieme alla Pixelmon, controlla le incompatibilità, così ti assicuri che non ci saranno problemi nell'avvio della Pixelmon.

Versioni

Pixelmon è compatibile con varie versioni di Minecraft, elencate nella tabella qui sotto. Ciascuna versione di Minecraft richiede una versione della Pixelmon differente. Ricorda che solo la versione di Minecraft per 1.12.2 riceve tutt'oggi aggiornamenti; versioni della Pixelmon per versioni più vecchie di Minecraft, non riceveranno più aggiornamenti di alcun genere.

Non c'è una versione della Pixelmon per "Minecraft" 1.11.

L'installer di Forge

Forge installation

1. Go to this page, and find the recommended build (as shown to the right).
2. Click either "Windows Installer" (if on Windows) or "Installer" (macOS/Linux).
3. The downloaded file is an automatic installer. Run it, select "Install client" and then click "OK".
   • Note: If you plan to use an alternative launcher, you may need to change the folder it installs to first.
4. When the Forge installation is done, open the Minecraft launcher.
5. Click the "Launch Options" tab on the header bar of the launcher.
6. There should now be a Forge profile listed. Check if it's there.
   • Note: If no Forge profile shows up (or it is outdated), follow these steps first:
   1. If no Forge profile is present, click "Add new". If an older profile is present, click that instead.
   2. Find the drop-down menu labeled "Version" and select your new Forge version.
   3. Save your profile.
7. Click any other tab, such as "News".
8. Click the arrow to the right of the "PLAY" button.
9. Select your new Forge profile and then click "PLAY".
10. Check the bottom-left corner of the main menu. You should see the Forge version you installed.
11. Close Minecraft and move on to Pixelmon installation. Minecraft should not be open while installing mods.

Pixelmon installation

1. Download the latest version of Pixelmon Reforged.
   • Note: If the mod's file size is significantly below 300MB, it may be corrupt. Try re-downloading it, if so.
2. Open the Minecraft launcher.
3. Click the "Launch Options" tab on the header bar of the launcher.
4. Click the profile that you installed Forge into.
5. Find the text box labeled "Game directory", and click the green arrow to the right of it.
   • Note: You can also navigate to the shown path using a file manager (such as File Explorer or Finder).
6. In the game directory, look for a folder named mods. Forge should have created one.
7. Place the downloaded Pixelmon file inside the mods folder.
   • Warning: Do not extract or otherwise edit the downloaded .jar file. Copy it directly into the folder.
8. Save your profile.
9. Click any other tab, such as "News". Start the game.
10. Check the "Mods" section on the main menu. If Pixelmon is listed here, it was installed correctly. Have fun!

Troubleshooting

• If you follow the instructions above and Minecraft crashes, start by examining the crash report using this crash reading guide.
• If Minecraft never finishes loading or is very laggy, you may need to allocate more memory for it to use. See Fixing memory issues for instructions about resolving this issue.
