A Premier Ball is a Poké Ball that has been specially made to commemorate an event of some sort. Premier Balls display a unique particle trail when thrown, although this is purely cosmetic. They have the same catch rate as normal Poké Balls.
Premier Balls can be obtained via crafting, village battle arena chests or common tier PokeStops.
