Poké Ball lids
Poké Ball lids are used to make Poké Balls, and can be crafted by placing a Poké Ball disc on an anvil and using a hammer (holding the left mouse button). After a few seconds, the lid will be made and then either right-clicking the anvil or continuing to hammer will retrieve the lid. Occasionally, a thrown Poké Ball can break into its component parts if it misses its target, and will drop the component lid, a stone button, and an iron base. No Poké Ball lids exist for Cherish Balls, GS Balls, Master Balls, or Park Balls.

Hammering
Poké Ball Discs can be used on an anvil and turned into Poké Ball Lids with a hammer. They can be re-obtained either by continuing to hammer the disc or by using the anvil. This process can also be automated by using a mechanical anvil instead of a regular anvil.
