Whirlwind | ||||||||||||||||||
|
Whirlwind is a Normal-type move that always goes last. In a wild Pokémon battle, the battle will end when Whirlwind is used. In a Trainer battle, Whirlwind will cause the opponent's Pokémon be switched out for a random Pokémon in the opponent's party, and will fail if the Pokémon is the only one in the opponent's party who can fight. Whirlwind will bypass Protect, Detect, and Spiky Shield.
