Pixelmon TCG

Pixelmon TCG (Pixelmon Trading Card Game) is a Pixelmon sidemod that brings Pokémon TCG to Pixelmon, with cards, booster packs, and computer-mediated game boards.

Installation

Pixelmon TCG is required on both the server and client to function. Made for Minecraft 1.8.9 with Pixelmon 4.2.x in mind. Requires Java 8.

Overview

Pixelmon TCG adds various items and blocks to the game in order to facilitate the collecting of, trading of, and playing of Pokémon TCG within Pixelmon.

Getting started

When you first join a server or create a new world, you won't have any Pixelmon TCG cards. In order to get started, you will either need to find a shopkeeper within a town to buy booster packs with PokéDollars, or craft a camera and take pictures of Pokémon which you can then print into cards using blank cards and a printer.

Printing your first card

After you have taken a photograph of a Pokémon using a camera and film, you are one step closer to printing your first card. Next, you will need to craft a printer:

Once you have a printer, you'll need a blank card. Blank cards come in various variations based on the energy type of the card, and the rarity of the card you want to craft. Here is the recipe for a common, uncommon, rare, holo rare and ultra rare Fire blank card respectively.

To get blank cards of the other TCG types, replace the fire-based items with items of another affinity. These items are laid out in a table below.

Building a deck

Once you have obtained enough cards, you will then need to build your first deck. Craft or buy a deck holder to get begin this process.
