Starter Pokémon

A trainer's starter Pokémon is the first Pokémon that a trainer is given to start being a Pokémon trainer. In Pixelmon, trainers are given a choice for their level 5 starter Pokémon between:

Config settings

The choices for starter Pokémon can be modified in the Pixelmon config file. Options include:

• Species of Pokémon
• Number of choices
• Starting level (5-100)
• Whether the starters are shiny

Trivia

• Both Pikachu and Eevee were formerly choices for starter Pokémon, but the options to choose them have since been removed.
