The Nether is one of the other dimensions in Minecraft. No Pokémon spawn here, and there are no plans for this to ever be the case. The only difference in the Nether related to Pixelmon is that Fire Stone Ore may spawn near lava lakes.
Resources
- Blaze Rods, Blaze Powder, Ghast Tears, Glowstone Dust, Netherrack, Nether Wart, and Nether Quartz are dropped by various Pokémon. Details can be found on the Drops page. However, it is much faster to gather Glowstone, Netherrack, or Nether Quartz in the Nether if large amounts are needed.
- Glowstone blocks and Redstone Lamps can be found in Pokémon Centers.
- Soul Sand can only be found in the Nether as usual.
- Wither Skeleton Skulls are unobtainable normally in Pixelmon as regular mobs don't spawn outside of Monster Spawners. If desired, the Pixelmon config setting "Allow vanilla mobs" can be changed to true.
Bugs
- Sending out Pokémon, battling, or quitting/disconnecting whilst in the Nether may cause a corruption of data.
