Lugia has a special texture that causes it to take on the appearance of XD001, the Shadow Lugia from Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. This special texture can be gained as a reward from giveaways on the Pixelmon Discord. If a player has access to the skin, the /redeem command can apply the special texture to a Lugia in the player's party.

Lugia's wings pack devastating power — a light fluttering of its wings can blow apart regular houses. As a result, this Pokémon chooses to live out of sight deep under the sea.
