Desolate Land is a signature ability for Primal Groudon. This move will produce an extreme heat, this heat can only be altered with Delta Stream or Primordial Sea.

This move will do the same effect as the intense sun of Drought.
The moves Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Sandstorm and Hail will not work.
The abilities Drizzle, Drought, Sand Stream and Snow Warning will not work.
Attacking moves of Water type will not work.
The effect of Desolate Land will stay until the pokémon with this ability leaves the battle, but the abilities Cloud Nine and Air Lock will disable Desolate Land.
