The Orb of Static Souls is an item that can be used to spawn Zapdos. To do so, the orb needs to be charged by defeating 375 Pokémon while the orb is in the player's inventory and then used on a Static Shrine. The Pokémon defeated do not have to be Electric-type Pokémon. The remaining number of Pokémon to defeat can be displayed by right-clicking with the orb in hand.
