A Misty Seed is a held item that boosts the holder's Special Defense in Misty Terrain. If a Pokémon holds this item when entering a Misty Terrain battlefield, the item will be consumed and activated. It will not be consumed if the holder has a max Special Defense stat stage. It can be obtained by using Forage, Headbutt, or rarely held by some Pokémon.
