For information on Emeralds in vanilla Minecraft, see this page.
Emeralds are used to make a green tank, a part of the cloning machine. Move tutors may also request emeralds for their services. Emeralds can found underground rarely in Extreme Hills biomes or as a drop from certain Pokémon. As villagers are replaced by chatting NPCs in Pixelmon and are therefore much rarer (only being available by purifying zombie villagers or spawning them in), emeralds are not as easily obtained from them.
