This article is about the regular Poké Ball. For Poké Balls in general, see Poké Balls.
A regular Poké Ball is the most basic type of Poké Ball. It has a 1× catch rate on all Pokémon. It can be obtained by crafting it, buying from a shopkeeper, or as a tier 1 special drop,
Crafting
Poké Balls can be crafted using three cooked Red Apricorns to make a Poké Ball disc, making a Poké Ball lid with the disc and an anvil, and using the Poké Ball lid, a button, and an iron Base or aluminium base to make the Poké Ball.
Regular Poké Balls are also used to craft an Old Rod and parts of the trade machine.
Trivia
Before the introduction of Apricorns, Poké Balls used to be crafted differently. Coal dust has since been removed, and this recipe no longer works.
