Gems are held items that boost the power of a move of their corresponding type by 1.5×, being consumed in the process. They are crafted with six diamonds and an item related to the Gem's type. They are also tier 2 special drops.

Fairy Gems cannot be crafted or found and are unobtainable without spawning them in. They have no use as the Fairy type is not in Pixelmon.
