Aluminium ingots can be crafted into the standard set of tools (axe, pickaxe, shovel, hoe, sword) along with the hammer introduced by Pixelmon. They are slightly inferior to iron tools, all having 200 durability (whereas iron tools have 251). Aluminium axes, pickaxes, and shovels break their respective blocks at the same speed as their iron counterparts, while all tools that deal more than half a heart of damage except for hammers (i.e., sword, axe, pickaxe, shovel) deal half a heart of damage less than their iron counterparts (e.g. an aluminium sword deals three hearts of damage per hit).
