Diamonds can be found rarely in caves like in vanilla Minecraft, but they can also be found as drops from wild Dratini, Dragonair, Boldore, and Sableye.
Diamonds are needed to craft a healer, Itemfinder, diamond hammer, new running boots, and Gems.
