Articuno is an Ice/Flying-type Pokémon and one of the Legendary birds, the others being Zapdos and Moltres. It spawns from a frozen shrine, found in Ice Plains, Ice Plains Spikes, Cold Taiga, Ice Mountains, when a fully-charged orb of frozen souls is placed in its centerpiece.

Articuno can create blizzards by freezing moisture in the air.

Articuno was added in version 2.2.1 of Pixelmon.
