Please note that Pixelmon is a big mod that registers many items and other things with Forge. When used with other  big mods, Forge's limits may be exceeded causing a "Invalid id ### - maximum id range exceeded" crash on startup. If you see a crash like this, you may need to also install a mod such as [https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/minecraft-mods/wip-mods/2467198-notenoughids-maximum-id-range-exceeded-no-more NotEnoughIDs].

This is a list of mods that are known to potentially cause issues when used together with Pixelmon.

Please note that Pixelmon is a big mod that registers many items and other things with Forge. When used with other big mods, Forge's limits may be exceeded causing a "Invalid id ### - maximum id range exceeded" crash on startup. If you see a crash like this, you may need to also install a mod such as NotEnoughIDs.

Interface conflicts

These mods may interfere with Pixelmon interfaces, or vice versa.

  • Iris Shaders
    • Pokémon may be invisible until external shaders are toggled through menu -> Video Settings -> Shaderpacks by using Crtl+G.
