A Binding Band is a held item that increases the residual damage from partially trapping moves (Bind, Clamp, Fire Spin, Infestation, Sand Tomb, Whirlpool, Wrap) from 18 to ⅙. It can be obtained as a tier 1 special drop. It is also a drop from certain wild Pokémon.
