Hats are a special type of accessory only available to certain players. It is possible to gain access to hats through special events that are periodically held by the Pixelmon team.

Upon gaining the ability to wear hats, using the /redeem command with certain arguments ("fedora", "fez", "tophat") will allow the player to wear the specified hat. To remove the hat, /redeem remove hat can be used.

The Trainer hat is a special type of hat that can be used by any player who has linked his/her Pixelmon forum and Minecraft accounts.
