A regular Poké Ball is the most basic type of Poké Ball. It has a 1× catch rate on all Pokémon. It can be obtained by crafting it, buying from a shopkeeper, or as a tier 1 special drop,
Crafting
Poké Balls require several steps and materials to craft; details can be found on this page.
Regular Poké Balls are also used to craft an Old Rod and parts of a trade machine.

Trivia
Before the introduction of Apricorns, Poké Balls used to be crafted differently. Coal dust has since been removed, and this recipe no longer works.
