A boulder is a type of block. As its material implies, it requires a pickaxe to be retrieved when mined.
Older Versions
In past versions of the mod, the boulder had another recipe, which is no longer in use.
Note: This recipe will only work if the stone is placed in the top row of the crafting interface. Attempting to form the recipe in either of the lower two rows will result in a stone pressure plate instead.
