The change was made because [[boss Pokémon]] were deemed to be too easy to defeat and gain [[drops]] from; many boss Pokémon were unevolved or otherwise weak Pokémon. The current lack of diversity in boss Pokémon species will be resolved as more [[Mega Evolutions]] are added to [[Pixelmon]].
