Hammers are tools used to turn Poké Ball discs into Poké Ball lids, iron discs into iron bases, and aluminium ingots into aluminium plates. One use of the hammer changes its target by one stage; three uses are needed to complete the transformation of an item. They can be crafted or dropped by boss Pokémon. A higher quality hammer decreases the time needed to make items with it, along with having more durability (except the gold hammer). Hammers can also be enchanted with Efficiency or Unbreaking to increase manufacturing speed and durability respectively.

Hammers can be made similar to any tool. Two sticks go in the middle and bottom middle for the handle, and the empty slots in the first two rows need to be filled with the material of the desired hammer. They can be made with wood planks, cobblestone, aluminium, iron, gold, or diamonds.
