For information on redstone in vanilla Minecraft, see this page.
Redstone is obtained from mining redstone ore deep in caves like in vanilla Minecraft. It is also dropped by many wild Electric-type Pokémon (and a few other Pokémon). It is needed to craft various machines in Pixelmon, including PCs, Fossil cleaners, Fossil machines, trade machines, cloning machines, Itemfinders, and Pokédexes.
