A Good Rod is an item that can be used to fish Pokémon that are found in water. It is unavailable legitimately and must be spawned in. It is possible to catch rarer Pokémon with the Good Rod than the Old Rod, but the rarest of catches are only accessible with the Super Rod. The possible catches depend on the biome that the player is currently in.
Possible catches
Goldeen and Magikarp can be caught regardless of the biome the player is in.
