A Grassy Seed is a held item that boosts the holder's Defense in Grassy Terrain. If a Pokémon holds this item when entering a Grassy Terrain battlefield, the item will be consumed and activated. It will not be consumed if the holder has a max Defense stat stage. It can be obtained by using Forage, Headbutt, or rarely held by some Pokémon.
