Grid Booster Energy.png

Booster Energy is an item that if held by Paradox Pokémon except Koraidon and Miraidon, it can activate their ability under certain conditions.

Effect

If Booster Energy is held by a pokémon with the Ability Protosynthesis when harsh sunlight is not active, or Quark Drive when Electric Terrain is not active, it activates the pokémon's ability (gets consumed in the process).

Item-manipulating moves and abilities such as Fling, Trick, or Symbiosis cannot transfer Booster Energy to or from a Pokémon with Protosynthesis or Quark Drive.

Since Booster Energy is restored after battle when consumed (as are all non-Berry items as of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet), it can be obtained from wild Paradox Pokémon even if it was consumed during battle.

Obtaining

It can be obtained as a tier 3 Special Drop. It is also a possible drop from Ultimate Boss Pokémon.
