To make a Heavy Ball lid, three cooked Blue Apricorns are needed. Placing the three cooked Apricorns in a row horizontally in a Crafting_Table will make three Heavy Ball discs, then using them with an anvil and a hammer will make them into Heavy Ball lids.

A Heavy Ball

A Heavy Ball is a Poké Ball for catching very heavy Pokémon. It can be obtained by crafting it, buying from a shopkeeper, or as a tier 1 special drop,

Unlike most Poké Balls, the Heavy Ball's catch rate modifier is additive rather than multiplicative. The catch rate modifier for Heavy Balls based on Pokémon weight is as follows:

Weight Modifier
<199.9 kg -20
199.9-299.9 kg +20
299.9-409.5 kg +30
>409.5 kg +40

A list of Pokémon that have an increased catch rate with a Heavy Ball can be found here.

Obtaining

Crafting
