#158937 Uhm, first off I don't know whether I can discuss it here, it seemed like the right place to discuss my difficulty with modelling, but anyways maybe someone can move it if its wrongly posted.

I want to remake the Tangela model, but the small problem is the poly count. I don't think I can make its vines without going high poly, just because there are so many of them! (I took alot of pictures from the pokedex 3D model). Does anyone maybe know a way to make those vines without the model getting too high poly?

#158956 the trick is going to be getting most of the vines to be very simple geometry and only having individual ends rather than modelling the vines as one whole if you follow what I mean

#158968 I can see it being around 800 triangles, maybe 1000. Remember, a lot of detail can be put into the texture itself. :)
