I'm sure you're all aware that you can model the same pokemon as another, the only reason why I ask is because I don't want to come into a situation where I ruin somebody else hard work. In the case of Lapras and regi's, they did it in techne and the original makers most likely would prefer a remake in a professional 3D program.

So go ahead and try to model arcanine if you wish, better off sitting there and doing nothing waiting for an answer.

Good point but I don't want to spend time and then realize someone has already made one.

Why not work on your favorite pokemon even if it's been done. At least you can get the hang of things and enjoy your finished project.
