#125381 I appreciate this. Something to link when people have support requests asking for the item IDs

#126313 Tried using this ID for the trader to block its placement in a plugin and looked through the config file to find its actual block ID but no luck using the below code other than preventing you to place block 91.

@EventHandler
public void onBlockPlace(BlockPlaceEvent event) {
List<Integer> NoPlace = Arrays.asList(91,4084,10272);
if (event.getBlockPlaced() == null)
return;
if (NoPlace.contains(event.getBlockPlaced().getTypeId()))
{
event.setCancelled(true);
}
}

#126439 so here is were it starts to get very weird. So I decided that if I couldn't stop placement then if i stopped crafting and breaking eventually all the traders would be placed and removed by me hence no traders would remain to be placed. On adding these two items to the code the effect is that you can't craft any of the parts or destroy a trader by means other than worldedit. Very strange as the block place and block break uses the same IDs however one works and the other does not. I am sure there is some logical reason for this but im not able to see it, perhaps how a trader is placed as 1 item however takes up 6 blocks when placed possibly itself calling in some kind of world-editor to place it down?

@EventHandler
public void onBlockPlace(BlockPlaceEvent event) {
List<Integer> NoPlace = Arrays.asList(91,4084,10272);
if (event.getBlockPlaced() == null)
return;
if (NoPlace.contains(event.getBlockPlaced().getTypeId()))
{
event.setCancelled(true);
}
}

@EventHandler
public void onItemMove(InventoryClickEvent event) {
List<Integer> NoCraft = Arrays.asList(322,10272,10396,10397,10399,10400,10412,10413,10414,10415);
if (event.getCurrentItem() == null)
return;
if (NoCraft.contains(event.getCurrentItem().getTypeId()))
{
if (event.getInventory().getType() == InventoryType.WORKBENCH)
{
event.setCancelled(true);
}
}
}

@EventHandler
public void onItemBreak(BlockBreakEvent event) {
List<Integer> NoBreak = Arrays.asList(4084,10272,10396,10397,10399,10400);
if (NoBreak.contains(event.getBlock().getTypeId()))
{
event.setCancelled(true);

#126440 I can't fix your problem but I will mention that Trade Machines are multi-block structures, which may affect what you're trying to do.
User avatar
By JamieS1211
#126442 I hoped this would be a easy fix but alas not. Thanks for letting me know, I thought it may come down to being a multi-block structure. Did some worldedit testing and I found by setting something to the following IDs interesting things happened

4084:0 - trader spawns screen facing south. All trader except selected block and block above selected block can be walked through.
4084:1 - trader spawns screen facing east. All trader except selected block and block above selected block can be walked through.
4084:2 - trader spawns screen facing north. All trader except selected block and block above selected block can be walked through.
4084:3 - trader spawns screen facing west. All trader except selected block and block above selected block can be walked through.
4084:4 - selected block becomes invisible however hit box shows. Trader spawns with centre bottom block on the adjacent block north of selected block. Trader can be walked though and when the selected block is not on screen the rest of the trader disappears. Selected block cannot be passed through.
4084:5- 4084:15 - selected block becomes invisible however hit box shows and it cannot be walked through.
4084:16+ - returns statement that "invalid data value".
