I am having some crashing issues with my computer and I may need to either reinstall Pixelmon or do a system restore of the entire operating system. If I do this, will I lose my progress or is that saved on a remote server? Is there a way to backup my stuff? I would appreciate any advice from others who have had to do this. Thanks!

Progress on a server is saved by and on that server. As long as you join it using the same account, you will continue where you left off.

If you are using a single player world you could probably back it up but it would be difficult and I don't know which files you would save and where
