Pixelmon Mod

Hi i've just recently downloaded this mod but i've hit a wall as everytime i try and run the launcher it crashes as it is loading the mod :(
I've downloaded forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2768 and installed client, and installed Pixelmon-1.12.2-7.0.7-universal and placed it in my mods folder, but as soon as i click play it starts to install and then crashes.
I've linked some pics of the crash report (hopefully the llinks work), so if anyone can help I would be grateful :)

Update Forge to 2838 (Latest), Forge's current recommendation is pretty old. 2838 is stable, but stuff has stagnated a bit with the shift to newer MC versions.
