How do I make villages less common?

In pixelmon, single player, I see, at average, two villages per plains/desert biome. It's getting irritating. I couldn't find an option in the config file to make them less common or turn them off. Please help.

it's in the bottom section (with legendary rate, spawnrates, etc) and it is
increaseVillageSpawnRate

I actually have this issue. I have set the # Increase the Minecraft village spawn rate by 100%.
increaseVillageSpawnRate=false, but I'm still getting 2 or more villages in a biome when they do spawn. I like that they spawn more frequently than the base game, helps with making an adventure map, but this many is crazy. lol
