Pixelmon not working?

- 01 Jan 2016 00:42 #166536 So I downloaded Pixelmon 1.7.10 and Froge 1.7.10. When I launched minecraft the text that's supposed to be on the menu is replaced with a bunch of blocky looking characters. So then I downloaded a mod called animation API for 1.7.10 hopping it would fix it. It didn't. Anyone know how to fix this? could use some help please. :P
