I like a couple things.
Something new, A.K.A mods.
I don't like seeing servers that offer the same thing as the last 20 I was on. Mods spice things up, and offer something potentially new for me to learn about. However, modded servers tend to have very few players which upsets me. No offense to Minecraft, its a great game, but the only reason I still play it is because of Pixelmon. And I only play it rarely.
Good Community
A.K.A
No drama, players building nice towns together, and over all friendly people.
The only reason I play Pixelmon over the actual games is because of the community. Its nice to see people help each other out and whatnot. You know, that and being able to move freely in first person, that's also nice. Come on its first person Pokemon.
Also the fact it was made by the Pokemon community. And I'm not competitive so normal Pokemon gets boring after the story for me.
Okay so there are quite a few reasons. :3
Down to earth staff.
A.K.A
Staff that doesn't only do things according to a set of guidlines, but a staff that can do things with their own judgement. Seems like most servers treat their staff like children who can only do exactly what they are told.
Music
Such as when you are battling or walking in a certain zone.
However you don't really need this if players can just play a song from their computer. I however am a music junkie.
The guy with a really weird picture of a Pikachu, and has some weird love for the letter U. That sound right?
