#123078 You think they aren't wanting to do that? Its a LONG and COMPLICATED process. First they need to put all IMPORTANT stuff in first. After, they look at the memory they have to work with. IF they decide to do move animations, its a difficult process. The animating, colliders, making sure the animation can be seen by the player, overhauling the camera view, not to mentuon there are over 100 TMs to make animations for, also the fact that some pokemon require different animations for the same move. It will be VERY buggy. But it can still be possible.

#123154 Move animations are something that are a fair way off, the animations posted in the blog are just general animations that all pixelmon will have eventually

#123157 Moe is right; it could take quite some time. Possibly a year? Two maybe to make sure there are no bugs and ALL pokemon are moving smoothly. That could take like a day to review one pokemon. So about 718 pokemon, and if you consider that the animation team is skilled in what they do, perhaps 2-4 years is a good estimate.
