Hey, ive been looking for a spheal for ages and idk where they spawn, can someone help me?

Spheal spawns in the daytime in snowy biomes, like Taiga, Ice Mountains, and Ice Plains.

Thats where ive been looking for the past few day and no sign of them, do they have spawning problems or anything?
