#244028 Honestly this mod should have permanent tutors/relearnes/etc with in villages, maybe changing the movepool by type of village.
searching in villages would be more fun than running in plains or mountains trying to find the right one only for him to disappear after.

I feel that a lot of things in this mod only work well in deticated and modified servers, like these NPCs, TMs and EV training for example. There should be more more to this than pure luck. :nerd:

#244030 Due to Minecraft's procedurally generated world, we have certain risks to consider when placing features in fixed locations. For Tutors in villages for example we'd have to rely on structure generation. The structure they generate in may be rather common or pretty rare in general - and when it does generate there are limited ways to control how many times the respective building will show up in that village. You may have a hard time finding a certain village, and then the Tutor's house didn't even generate, or you may come across one type of village rather often and each have around 5 copies of the same tutor.
Random spawns at least give you a consistent chance. Same goes for many other aspects, like drops, raids or special spawns. It's very hard to add reliable progression to a sandbox game (especially on the scale of content we have) without restricting that sandbox nature.

That said, I do agree that relying on random chance often isn't the most exciting way to implement these things. We're continuously looking into improving those aspects and making them more reliable. An example similar to your suggestion would be the Move Relearner that generates with each of the Urshifu Towers.
All of those require careful balancing considerations though. Making things too easy to find can cheapen the experience, discourage exploring, or outright promote skipping entire chunks of content, which we want to avoid.
