I've been playing around with the NPC Editor, and I felt like there could be two major improvements:
- I tried to make two conditional entries with the right click based on the player name, but it seems that it only triggered the first one. Would be awesome if the NPCs could trigger different things with the same interaction depending on the condition.
- It is very limiting to have only one event per condition per interaction. Enabling the hability to place sequential events would significantly expand the functionality and capabilities of the system. For example: Right Click -> Having an Item -> Trigger Dialogue, then trigger battle, then trigger console command if won. Three events with one interaction.
- Bubble dialogue to the players in addition of direct msg or chat message. Cleaner and more inmersive.
I am pretty sure the battle event not working is intentional, but I considered ok to put it here just in case.
That's it! This system improves the tools we have making NPCs, and that's awesome.
