- 26 May 2021 13:17 #208068 The karp boats seem to have so many super rods in them. Before super rods were rare to find and was a challenging item that gave access to new pokemon and items. In another sense it was on par to the xp items in terms of "rareness" and now you can get 5+ from a magikarp boat that can be found pretty easily.

I propose toning down the chest loot in these boats and maybe only have a couple of old/good rods with a very low chance of super rods. The super rod count could be replaced with another item like splash plates maybe or team rocket armour as I think the boats are used by them in the anime (feel free to correct).

- 27 May 2021 12:31 #208072 There appears to be one guaranteed rod per chest according to its loot file. Most other valuable chest drops in the game also have an "empty" option at a high chance, but that's not the case here. I'd almost consider that a bug.
Also the Magikarp sub has more actual chests than the other 2 boats, while the loot per chest is the same.
