I know that the shiny charm has been added into the mod and Ultra Space reduces odds as well, but I think a “shiny method” could really make hunting more exciting. Maybe bring catch combo or chaining back. Maybe bring the fishing method back. Any of those could work. I just think that a method of any kind would really make a difference for shiny hunters.

We do have one method the original games do not have. And that's the "run around and keep an eye out for shiny spawns". The fact that you can see shinies without having to battle them first makes up for several of the base game multipliers.

I know, I just thought it would be cool for players to use some kind of method that isn’t “running around and lolking for one” like chain fishing
