#84548 So back when I was doing some work with Project Contingency I joked about the thought of texturing a plasma grenade as a Pokeball. Later realizing that I completely ignored the Normal and Specular maps I threw together a quick texture over the original alpha layer:

Which became distorted due to the texture not fitting as originally intended to (whoops) as so:

I know it's the not the best but it brings up some ideas of creating a Pokemon themed game with this engine or similar ones, an example being Pokemon Unreal. I know many indie development teams won't want to take such a project on due to being unable to make any sort of profit off the game (due to Nintendo, UDK, and CryENGINE free SDK licenses) and the only way to apply for an indie license is fully owning the IP of which the game is created with. However, it would be interesting to see how Pokemon could play on a more powerful game engine.
