Blitzle

I started working on Blitzle so i am uploading some early pics.
What I know that must be fixed: legs(especially the hoofs), general body shape, decrease the space between the front and the rear legs.
I would like to know you opinion on making the mane thick and not leave it is as a plane.
Any kind of feedback is greatly appreciated.

I adjusted the length between the legs, and started to align some polys in the right place.
Right now the poly count is 494.
I decided i will make the mouth and not leave a line there.
Any kind of feedback is greatly appreciated.
P.S - The mesh is just colored

Seems like too many polys to me. Also the body proportions are off a little. The neck is too long, the eye is too small, and the thighs are too big. Otherwise nice.

I made the legs and neck shorter and scaled down the tighs (i think the back thighs were more off than the front ones). I will try to make a textured version this weekend and i will try to cut some polygons. I guess the poly count on the head is too high and that's what you were reffering to. The poly count now is 498. The eye will be changed in the textured version.
