The animation of the feathers on Anorith was too harsh- you need to make them 'roll' with movement, not just wave up and down in a straight line. Irregularity breathes life into animation- try physically moving them a couple of pixels just before they go to their highest point, then moving them again just before they hit the lowest point.
With Armaldo, the tail needs to move a lot more. It's the point of balance, and it has to be far lower down to make any sense. Have it wave slowly, powerfully, to match the size of the Pokemon. Also, its walk looks kind of odd... like it's spending too much time spinning on the spot and not enough time actually walking.
