I thought his head was more of a prolate spheroid shape.

SPG is correct, while his head has a slight oval shape to it in many references online it's just barely.

I'd like to see the ears a bit more angular. The way you've rounded them looks great, but pichu's ears aren't quite there. If you look at Whitescarver's picture up there, you can see they're pointy enough to play Fruit Ninja. Other than that, no complaints. You're doing great.

Your model would be much better with a better pixel resolution. If I didn't state that correctly, I mean to make a finer texture, the outcome would be much better, only a nitpick though, keep up the outstanding work

All right I'll set up a poll.

I would drop pichu's head a tad lower, and the black chest texture as well. But other than that it's awesome and could go IG I think
