Spawning doesn't seem right not a bug

I made an account specifically to complain about this. I just had like 5 move tutors spawn, an Espeon, 3 move relearners, 3 shopkeepers, a Vivillion, and an Alolan Meowth spawn in my Plains biome. This didn't happen in 7.0.6, I haven't touched my spawning configs and they are default settings, but my world from 7.0.6 was updated to 7.0.7, so it's the same world. I'm not touching any of the more rare spawns because I don't feel right to take advantage of it. Anyone else noticing this?

Thanks for the report. However, this isn't a bug. In fact this is caused by a bug fix in the spawning code that has been in the mod for quite some time and made many things rarer than they should have been.

The problem is spawns were balanced with that bug in the code, meaning now that it is fixed there is a visible difference in spawns. The team are working on re-balancing them, but if you want it there is a temporary side mod that will implement the old spawning algorithm to make spawns more like they were until they are re-balanced. It's called "Old Selection Algorithm" and you can find it at the link below.
